Less than a week now.
Claudia is having her face done (because you want to look good when they wheel you into the operating room). Jacob is napping: we're keeping his afternoon naps for now, but shortening them to an hour or so. The boys are watching Disney's Jungle Book (the original one from 1960 or whenever) while I type this on the couch.
-- Do you know, I've never seen TJB before? The animation is pretty good. The story... hm. I should do a post on kid's movies one of these days.
Job stuff: I'll be going to Burundi for two weeks in late August. This means I'll be leaving Claudia with three little boys and a two-week-old baby. Claude says she's fine with this.
Bujumbara is one of the few national capitals that's still kind of hard to reach by plane. There aren't a lot of flights: two a week from Brussels, while everything else goes through other African capitals, mostly Nairobi. So I overnight in Brussels going out, then wait two days and take a red-eye coming back.
I also have an interview in a couple of days that might lead to a long-term job. Still iffy at this point, so perhaps more in a bit.
