You just reminded me of Larry Niven's Known Space stories - did you ever read about Mount Lookitthat?

Mike Ralls

Heh, his discription reminded me of Mt. Lookatthat too.

Congrats on the promotion Doug! So what exactly are you doing now?

Cheers,
Mike

Natalie

Darn! I thought I was unique. It reminded me of Mt Lookitthat also. I plan to see Ararat in Real Life in fall 2007. Okay?

See you,
Natalie

"A Gift From Earth" was one of my two favorite SF novels in the WORLD when I was, hum, sixteen or so years old. I haven't reread it in fifteen or twenty years, and I'd almost be afraid to... I don't think I could stop myself from deconstructing hell out of it, and that might not be such a good thing.

But weren't there some lovely images? "The captain said, in the voice of a man punched in the stomach, 'Lookitthat!'"

("Fist-of-God" would also be an entirely appropriate name for Ararat, BTW.)

Say, Doug, any of your doing?

Praise for Romania's strides in the legal arena.
