And here I am in Chisinau, Moldova.
The last month has been very, very busy. I finished my work in the West Bank. (Did I even blog about the West Bank? Don't think I did.) Spent a couple of days in Amman, Jordan. Flew home for a few days, then flew out to Chisinau for three days in early February. (Had to learn about the project very quickly. Meetings, meetings, meetings. Very intense.) Flew back to Germany, met Claudia and the boys in Frankfurt airport, and flew directly to the US.
We spent two weeks in Washington, DC -- onboarding at the new employer, family and friends, taking the kids to the National Zoo. (Didn't get downtown to do the museums and monuments this time. But did get to see family and friends.) And then we flew back, and I had one day in Germany, and now I am here.
It's cold and snowy. Martisor is coming soon, though, so there are flowers and little Martisor trinkets for sale everywhere.
And work starts tomorrow.
